I saw this on Malindachan's Journal and went to take a look at a bunch of other wish lists...
I feel like doing something for everyone, but I'll just do what I can.



THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf this forum ( [link] ) and browse the lists. Here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.



My Christmas Wish List

To spend Christmas with Mike... but since he came to my house for the holiday last year, it's only fair that he wants me to go to his house to celebrate...
I just really hope my mom'll let me go to his place for a while. It'd be so nice to be with his family... a family that doesn't have problems left and right, even on holidays.

The kind of skill to draw an awesome cover art for my fanfiction Severed Wings of the Angels, or the kind of money to commission somebody like or for it.
I'm really, really proud of it and how much it's progressed, and I'm having so much fun writing it... I'm really happy with this story. That's why I want a great cover art for it.

To spend time with all of my fellow RGV Cosplayers in December.
I really miss everybody, especially since we haven't met up since September for my birthday.

To get my Slifer Jacket fixed correctly. X__x
It's been messed up since I got it, but I really want to be a Christmas!Judai for RGV Cosplay VII in December...
But it looks like I'll just be my signature cosplay as Number IV: Vexen again.

To get my hands on "Neos Wiseman" and "Rainbow Neos." Especially Neos Wiseman, because I absolutely adore my Yubel cards.
I don't have "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare," but since it costs so much money anyway, I don't think I particularly need it. I like my Yubel and "Terror Incarnate," though I could use another Yubel card so it'd be more likely to draw it...

A new battery for my laptop. -stares at laptop.-
I dropped my computer when I was a freshman... I'm a junior now, and ever since, I've had to keep my laptop plugged-in in order to use it. It turns off a few seconds after being unplugged, so it's no different from a desktop. T__T


... ha, to tell the truth, that's all. xD

... wow, I just realized that only one-third of these things has a chance to happen.
I really, really hope we don't have to cancel the RGV Cosplay in December, too!! If we skip another month, I don't know what I'll do... I miss my best friends!!
